Quick Note: Benefield led Lovejoy to the 4A state championship game in 2011. He is athletic and he spins the ball well. He is hearing from a number of schools, but none have offered yet.

Quick note: Another prospect inching his way onto the BCS school radar, the junior showcased a quality blend of size and footwork to stymie several quality opponents in one-on-ones.

David Johnson — 6-2, 235 — defensive end — Lithonia High School in Lithonia, Ga. — 2013
Quick note: The junior utilized his speed and technique to make quick work of several offensive linemen that were much larger in stature. Johnson lost his shirt, literally, in earning this honor and could make some noise on the next level as an outside linebacker in a 3-4. He already has SEC offers from Auburn, Mississippi State and South Carolina.
Top Defensive Back
Brendan Langley — 6-1, 186 — cornerback — Kell High School in Marietta, Ga. — 2013
Quick note: One of the more highly recruited defensive backs in the south, the junior told Scout.com that Georgia leads for his services with Alabama being a close second. He has plans to visit Tennessee and the Crimson Tide this week.

Quick note: Already with a Tennessee offer, this junior put a great set of hands on display to beat DBs. He was quick getting out of his breaks, which was a positive sign for a 17-year-old that dealt with an ankle injury his sophomore season.
