ECU Diamond Bucs GO 1--1-1 over the weekend

Posted Mar 18, 2002

Time constraints prevented East Carolina and Cincinnati from completing their third and series’ decisive baseball game at Johnny Bench Field in Cincinnati on Sunday. The Pirates had a plane to catch, so the game was called after 10 innings with the score knotted at 5-5.

The resulting 1-1-1 series record leaves the Pirates overall record at 14-3-1 and C-USA record at 1-1-1. ECU lost the first game of the series on Friday by an 8-5 score but rebounded on Saturday to take a 7-0 decision.

ECU return to action on Wednesday, March 20 against Old Dominion at 3 PM.
