Another Post Season Trip for Diamond Bucs

East Carolina’s 4-0 shutout of Houston in the Conference USA Championship game upped the Pirates season record to 41-18-1 and earned them a trip to the NCAA regional in Clemson, SC.
The Pirates are the No. 2 seed in the four-team regional and will face No. 3 seed Elon in this Friday`s opener at 2 p.m. No. 1 seed Clemson will face No. 4 seed Georgia Southern in the Friday night matchup at 7 p.m. ECU and Elon, which received an at-large bid to the tournament, met twice during the regular season with each team winning on its home field. This marks the Pirates` fourth straight NCAA Regional appearance.
