Wilmington (NC) Hoggard offensive tackle T.J. Leifheit is a mammoth prospect. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound standout who now holds eight offers. The latest one comes from the California Golden Bears. Cal is the only school west of the Appalachians to offer Leifheit. He is shown in action from the 2007 and 2008 seasons…

New California OL Coach Steve Marshall has taken a keen interest in bigger offensive linemen. T.J. Leifheit is the latest offensive linemen to receive an offer from the Golden Bears. With offers from Maryland and every FBS school in the Carolinas save Clemson, he has plenty of options he prefers to stay close to home. However, as we saw with UnderArmour All-American center Mark Brazinski, Cal’s allure of top-notch academics coupled with a top 25 football program and a solid history of successful college offensive linemen can be hard to pass up for top East Coast prospects.

Leifheit is shown in action from his sophomore and junior seasons. He is wearing No. 75 in the clips.
